Job Summary:
Responsible for leading a team of Servicing Oversight Specialists including oversight of new loan set up, data integrity, customer service, loan administration, default administration, transfer to servicer or sub-servicer and servicer performance management.  Position will report to the First Vice President Loan Servicing Operations.   
Job Responsibilities:
  • Work planning, prioritization and assignment; establish and monitor accountability for team member’s job responsibilities
  • Align staff to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives
  • Training and team-building; staff development for professional and corporate growth; coaching, mentoring and counseling
  • Timely performance management (appraisals, reviewing and approving work; rewards and disciplinary action; conflict resolution)
  • Recommendations for interviewing and hiring decisions; promotions and demotions
  • Ensure compliance with Company Policies
  • Demonstrate and encourage integrity and alignment with Company Vision, Mission and Values
  • Management and oversight of Servicing Oversight team responsible for all functionality that impacts servicing which includes the following groups and processes:
    • Data Management:  audit of loan file against data, new loan setup onto the system of record; boarding of repurchased assets; sub-servicer interfaces; exception management
    • Escrow Administration:  responsible for escrow line validation, auditing and data validation of escrow accounts on newly funded loans; non-payment audits/actions for taxes and insurance
    • Customer Service:  responsible for production liaison; handling of Loan Officer and borrower calls and emails; and servicer communication 
  • Management, development and oversight of portfolio and servicer performance management teams, functions and processes including the following:
    • Portfolio Management - responsible for oversight, review, assessment, audit and management of performance across prime and default servicing according to company goals.
